At about 17:00 on the 20th, Xichang Border Police was patrolling at the Guanjing Wharf of Xichang in Beihai City and found that the deck of a tin fishing boat was full of net bags, and there were many Chinese horseshoe crabs in the net bags. After counting, there are 15 net bags on the deck of the fishing boat, which contain more than 1,000 Chinese horseshoe crabs. The owner of the fishing boat said that he was repairing the boat in the cabin at the time and did not know how these net bags and Chinese horseshoe crabs appeared on his deck. After investigation, the police found a man who sent the Chinese horseshoe crab to the fishing boat. The man stated that he was not the shipper or consignee, but was entrusted to deliver the goods to the fishing boat. The West Field Border Police Station of the North Sea Defense Detachment of the Guangxi Public Security Frontier Defense Corps transported the seized more than 1,000 "unowned" Chinese horseshoe crabs (pronounced "hou") to the Beihai Fishery Administration Wharf and released them to the sea.
